US History and American Government Corrections

Retakes are not allowed, but Corrections may be done on Tests, Quizzes, Portfolios, Sample Works, and Discussions.  I do not accept corrections on Quick Checks or Practices. 

• To make corrections on a Portfolio or Sample Work, please schedule a meeting with me or come see me in INO so we can go over the directions, feedback, and why you might have lost points. send the fixed version to me via Web Mail.

• To fix a Discussion, please schedule a meeting with me, or come see me in INO so we can discuss the prompt.  Prepare to discuss the topic in depth since you didn't the first time.

• Use the document linked to the left for Quizzes and Tests. 

  • ​Fill out this chart for each missed question, save your document and send this document to me via webmail.  You may use your textbook, lessons, and notes to find the correct answer. 

  • Test and Quiz Corrections are worth ½ the credit they were originally worth. 

  • All Parts of the direction below for each corrected question must be done to get  credit.

  • The "Explanation of the Correct Answer and why" is the most important part.  You will not get credit if you do not answer it in full and write at least 2 sentences.

  • For Essay/Short Answer: Response must be the original length of sentences per the prompt.

  • If a question is originally worth 3 points, aim for 3 answers/data/examples/evidence.
